So, my favorite quote of the day is from our contractor. Complaining about his “helper” who was impatient and rushed and sloppy– not quite getting the job done to our contractor’s high standards–he said, “In Croatia, we have a saying. The slower you go, the sooner you get there.”
I guess the tortoise and the hare story is universal!
A word to the wise. Take your time. Be patient. Be careful. Keep at it.
Think about stew. And wine. And love. And psychological growth.
The benefits are worth the wait.
